Adventure Sports began in July 2003 under the name War Games Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. War Games was one of the first outdoor laser combat fields in the United States. Founder Derek Petit started off with equipment purchased from a popular commercial laser tag manufacturer, since there was no real alternative for a high quality metal product. After using the equipment for a year, Derek became increasingly frustrated with the manufacturer. He felt a lack of support for his growing business, and also believed the quality of workmanship had suffered as a result of cost cutting efforts. This left Derek one solution – develop his own equipment – and Adventure Sports was born!
At Adventure Sports we do not just sell you the outdoor laser tag equipment, wish you luck and send you on your way! Our mission is to give people from all over the world the opportunity to run a business of this nature and to do it right!
